Wilfred G. van Gorp, Ph.D., ABPP, is a nationally recognized authority in clinical neuropsychology and the Director of the Cognitive Assessment Group. As a Board-Certified specialist (ABPP), Dr. van Gorp has spent over 30 years at the forefront of brain-behavior research and clinical practice, having directed neuropsychology programs at three of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions: UCLA, Cornell, and Columbia University.

Dr. van Gorp’s expertise lies in how complex neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions impact human cognition. He is a prolific researcher with more than 120 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 35 books and book chapters to his credit. His leadership in the field is unparalleled, having served as the President of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN) and as a member of the American Psychological Association’s Council of Representatives.
