An autism evaluation is a comprehensive process that includes a detailed developmental history interview with the individual and/or family members, behavioral observations, and standardized testing. We use gold-standard instruments like the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), to assess communication, social interaction, and imaginative use of materials.
